Alicante weekend weather forecast October 22-25: Temperatures to hit 28°C

The latest forecast points to a nice October weekend across the Alicante Province, with some cloud and afternoon temperatures reaching 27°C in some areas on Sunday

After last week's torrential rain and flooding, the latest forecast from Spain's State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) points to a much calmer few days, with some cloud passing over the province and temperatures remaining nice and warm for late October. Here's the daily breakdown:

Thursday October 22

Thursday will be a bit cloudy across Alicante Province, with temperatures dipping slightly in some areas. Winds will be light and variable, mainly from the west, before turning moderate along the coast during the afternoon. Alicante city is forecast to reach 26°C, while Elche and Orihuela should both see highs of 25°C. Dénia is expected to reach 24°C, while Alcoy is expected to reach 22°C.

Minimum temperatures will range from 12°C in Alcoy to 16°C in Alicante city and Dénia, with Elche at 14°C and Orihuela at 13°C.

Friday October 23

Daytime temperatures should rise on Friday, with Alicante city expected to reach 28°C. Elche and Orihuela are forecast to hit 27°C, while Dénia should reach 24°C and Alcoy 22°C. Winds will be light to moderate from the west and northwest but will get stronger in the afternoon.

Minimum temperatures are forecast to range from 11°C in Alcoy to 14°C in Alicante city, Dénia and Orihuela, with Elche at 13°C.

Saturday October 24

Saturday should be a little cooler across the province, although afternoon temperatures are still expected to reach 24°C in several areas. Alicante city, Elche and Orihuela are all forecast to reach 24°C, while Dénia and Alcoy should see highs of 22°C. Winds will be light to moderate from the west, but may pick up again afte lunch.

Minimum temperatures are forecast to range from 11°C in Alcoy to 15°C in Alicante city and Dénia. Elche should fall to 14°C, with Orihuela at 13°C.

Sunday October 25

Temperatures are expected to rise again on Sunday, particularly in inland areas, as the weekend draws to a close. Elche and Orihuela are forecast to reach 27°C, while Alicante city should see a high of 26°C. Dénia is expected to reach 24°C, with Alcoy also climbing to 24°C.

Skies will be partly cloudy, with light westerly winds. Minimum temperatures are expected to rise slightly inland, while coastal areas should see little change or a small dip. Minimum temperatures are forecast to range from 12°C in Alcoy to 14°C in Alicante city and Dénia, with Elche and Orihuela both at 13°C.
