Camposol weekly market: Stall spaces available
Announcement of the opening of the applications window for vacant spaces in the Camposol weekly market
The Town Council of Mazarrón has announced the opening of the application period for the improvement of existing stalls and the incorporation of new merchants in the municipal weekly market held on the Camposol urbanisation, an initiative that seeks to boost the local economy and offer more shopping options.
The market, which is held every Thursday, is located on plot S5-7 of the EL3 green area, sector A, better known as the car park adjacent to the A Sector Commercial Centre of the Camposol urbanisation. This market changes its opening hours according to the seasons, opening from 8am to 2pm in summer and from 8.30am to 2.30pm in winter.
According to the published rules, authorisations for stalls will prioritise existing stall holders wishing to improve their current positions, followed by those who wish to join for the first time. Interested merchants must comply with strict technical and sanitary standards, especially those who handle food products.
The application process is open to all merchants who meet the established requirements, including being up to date with their tax and social security obligations, as well as having the corresponding civil liability insurance. Applications can be submitted within 15 days of the publication of this announcement on the Town Council's website and on the municipal Edict Board.
The local administration has established a clear economic regime for the successful applicants, who must pay a fee for the use of the public domain, in accordance with the provisions of the current Municipal Ordinance.
The body in charge of evaluating the applications will be composed of three members, including the Councillor Delegate for Commerce and two municipal officials, ensuring a transparent and fair process.
This invitation not only represents an opportunity for local merchants to expand their businesses and reach new customers, but also strengthens the market's commercial offer, directly benefiting the Camposol community.
The complete rules and additional details about the application process are available on the website of the Mazarrón Town Council and in the General Registry of the Town Council.
