The spirit of Christmas invades the narrow old streets of Cehegín in the festive season!

December 21 Free Christmas tour of Cehegín Cehegín is one of the most picturesque towns in the Region of Murcia, both in terms of the panoramic view of the hilltop settlement from afar and as far as the intimacy of the narrow streets when they are decorated during the festive season.

You can see all this for yourself on this free guided tour (in Spanish) which is being held on Sunday 21^st December, starting at 11.00 in the Plaza del Alpargatero (click for map). Enjoy the smell of roast chestnuts and the scent of Christmas goodies as it wafts through the streets, accompanying you on your way as you learn about the town’s historical heritage.

You’ll be seeing centuries-old palatial residences, narrow streets and alleyways, churches, squares, monumental nativity scenes and museums as you take part in your pre-Christmas journey of discovery to this spot in north-western Murcia.

This free tour is usually a very popular one every year, so if you are lucky enough to secure online booking here but then can’t attend, please inform the organizers so that others can take your place.
