Football training facilities at La Manga Club

La Manga Club has 8 international standard pitches

Football training facilities at La Manga ClubThe La Manga Club resort has forged its reputation on quality, and the football installations are another example of their commitment to providing the best.

Such is the quality of the training facilities here that the national teams of Spain, England, Scotland, Denmark, South Africa, Sweden and Wales are among those to have used them. Club sides who have benefitted from training spells here include Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Deportivo de La Coruña, Real Sociedad, Liverpool, Chelsea, Celtic, Leeds Utd, Newcastle Utd, Tottenham Hotspurs, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Austria Vienna, Anderlecht, Dynamo Zagreb, Olympique de Marseille, PSV Eindhoven, Ajax, Feyenoord and LA Galaxy, as well as dozens of others far too numerous to mention.

The La Manga Club Professional Football Centre is at the western end of the resort and includes eight international standard pitches, one of them a match pitch with a seating capacity of 800. All the pitches are maintained in immaculate condition by the same team which is responsible for the golf course, ensuring that the turf and grass are kept at the highest possible standard.

As is to be expected there are also changing rooms and press and parking facilities, and the centre also features a five-a-side pitch, hockey goals, cones and hurdles and  massage benches. La Manga Club also boasts a dedicated fitness centre which is specifically designed to suit the requirements of professional sportsmen and women. This facility is also open to non-professionals aiming to get fit or keep fit! Click for more info,  gym and fitness centre

The La Manga Club Football Academy hosts week-long courses run by FA/UEFA qualified coaches, all of whom have played or coached at professional club level.
These courses cater for children aged between 3 and 18, divided into five different age groups and a special goalkeeping academy in the summer.

For more information about professional sports breaks at La Manga Club, contact Chad Harpur on +34 968 33 1234, email chad.harpur@lamangaclub.com .
