More rain forecast in Murcia and this is when: Weekly weather September 9-15
Despite the chance of rain midweek, it will mostly be a dry and sunny week in Murcia
Murcia weather forecast, Wednesday September 11
According to the latest forecast by the Spanish State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), this week in the Region of Murcia will mostly be dry and sunny again, but with some periods of dark cloud cover and the possibility of rain midweek.
Aemet also predicts that temperatures will take a bit of a tumble towards the end of the week.
On Monday September 9, the skies over Murcia will be bright and cloudless, with a splendid sun shining down all day long. These conditions last into Tuesday 10, too, bringing temperatures up into the mid-30s in northern and central Murcia and just shy of 30ºC in the south.
It is on the afternoon of Wednesday September 11 when the rainfall is forecast to drift down over Murcia from Alicante and the northern Mediterranean, with a rainfall probability of 50%. The rain will only stay for a few hours in the afternoon, and will only affect the southern half of the Region, before it dries up.
Thursday 12 will be drier, but much cloudier than earlier in the week and by the morning of Friday 13 (an inauspicious day?) the rain will be back.

It is also on Friday when there will be a drop in maximum temperatures – down from 36ºC in central Murcia on Thursday to 26ºC on Friday! On Saturday, too, while no rain is currently forecast by Aemet, it will get colder at nights, with minimums forecast to drop by a couple of degrees.
In all, we are starting to see the weather changing towards the wetter (thankfully!) and the cooler as we march slowly towards autumn, which officially begins later this month.

- Tuesday September 10: Min 15ºC; Max 33ºC
- Wednesday September 11: Min 16ºC; Max 33ºC
- Thursday September 12: Min 14ºC; Max 36ºC
- Friday September 13: Min 15ºC; Max 26ºC
- Saturday September 14: Min 12ºC; Max 28ºC
- Sunday September 15: Min 13ºC; Max 31ºC
