November 15 Tosca opera at the seafront auditorium in Aguilas
One of the best-known scores by Puccini in a production at the Auditorio Infanta Doña Elena in Águilas
The opera Tosca, by Giacomo Puccini, premiered in the year 1900 in Rome and has become one of the most popular among audiences across the world over the last 120 years.
The action is set in Rome on the day when Napoleon triumphed over the Austrian army at the Battle of Marengo in 1800, and the plot includes themes of love, intrigue, freedom, sacrifice and passion. This production of one of Puccini’s most enduring masterpieces is presented by Opera 2001 and the Massy Opera (Paris-Sud).
The performance in Águilas on 15th November begins at 20.00 with tickets priced at 20, 25 and 30 euros and available online here. Alternatively, purchase your tickets at the local archaeological museum, the Casa de la Cultura and at the box office of the auditorium from 1 hour before the curtain rises.
