March 21 to 30 Annual tapas route in Fortuna
24 local hostelries in and around Fortuna offering bar snacks and drinks
The 4th annual tapas route in Fortuna is being held during the last two weekends of March (21st to 23rd and 28th to 30th) and features a series of special bar snacks available with a drink for 4 euros a time (5 euros in the case of competing cocktails).
The bars and restaurants taking part are Restaurante La Esquina de San Antón, La Barra de Fortuna, Restaurante Casa Fulgencio, Jackaroo Australian Bar, Restaurante El Rocío, Café-Teatro Leana, Restaurante Asador La Puerta Grande, La Tapería Burger, Pub Hard Rock Whiskey, Pach Up Fortuna, Heladería Crepería Gelato Park, Panadería Confitería Pan y Dulces, Panadería Confitería La Purísima, Restaurante Marina, Paulin’s Pub, Restaurante El Molinico, Bombay Indian Restaurant (Las Kalendas), Restaurante Los Periquitos, Burgerizza, Namasté Fortuna, La Nueva Era, El Templo del Perro and Pizzería Ottimo (Las Kalendas).
Each of these hostelries is offering its tapas from 12.30 to 16.00 and 20.30 to 23.30, while cocktails are served from 16.00 to 2.00 (with some variation from locale to locale).
Route maps or Passports are available from all of the bars and restaurants and from the tourist office on Avenida Juan Carlos I and should be stamped every time you order one of the tapas featured. As always in this kind of event, for those collecting a certain number of stamps there are prize draws to be held!
