Lorca, famous for its Mediaeval city walls and castle, has the shortest area of coastline of any of the municipalities in the region, its beaches all on the Mediterranean coast.

Puntas de Calnegre is an atmospheric fishing village, with restaurants right down on the beach, and the remainder of Lorca’s beach offering is made up by undeveloped virgin coves.
